BRONZE FIGURE OF HARPOCRATES

Statuette of naked seated god of the Upperworld, index finger of his right hand to his mouth, wearing nemes headdress with sidelock and uraeus, surmounted by the Hemhem crown consisting of three Atef crowns combined flanked by ostrich feathers, rectangular base beneath feet. Red, green and brown patina.

H. 14,8 cm. Mounted.

Ex priv. coll. R.Z., Switzerland, acquired in 1999 from Robert Deutsch, Israel.

Late Period, 6th-4th cent. BC.
