LARGE CORINTHIAN ARYBALLOS

Flat-bottomed shape, small neck, broad and slightly indented mouth, short strap handle. Black figure decoration of a scene between bands showing a sphinx with widespread wings between goose with closed wings, details incised; rosettes and small roundels incised in field, row of petals around shoulder, broad black bands on top of mouth and at underside.

H. 10,8 cm. Intact, paint flaked off in places.
