GNATHIAN BLACK-GLAZED SKYPHOS

Decorated with galloping dark brown dotted white painted deer inbetween bushes, white dotted baseline, double dotted and verticals above as well as a band with red and yellow/white sections and a band of linked volutes; reverse with elaborate decorations of grapes and palmettes, at lower part an alabastron between birds.

Ex priv. coll. Prof. v.d. T., 1970s-1990s, sold at De Zwaan auctions 2024.
H. 8,8 cm. Intact, very nice condition.
