ETRUSCAN TERRACOTTA GORGONEION ANTEFIX

Large fragment of a mould-made antefix of a bearded Gorgoneion, almond shaped eyes, snubby nose, tusks, large mouth with teeth and tongue sticking out, wavy beard and hair, traces of red and black paint; supported by rectangular base with meanders in red and black paint, cover tile stll present.
