LARGE TERRACOTTA LID OF CINERARY URN
Recumbent child leaning on rectangular cushion, holding patera umbilicata in his right hand; draped around lower body. Set on large rectangular plinth, small, square vent hole on top of head. Pale, orange-beige clay with traces of red paint. Small piece missing from drapery, tiny chip from patera, otherwise intact.
Ex Swiss priv. Coll., acq from Galeria Serodine 2001.
Dim. 40 x 28 x 22,5 cm.
Probably from Chiusi, 2nd cent. BC
