ROMAN GILDED LEAD FRAGMENT

Decorative fragmentary panel in low relief with two theater masks within a frame, a reclining goat at either side of the central mask of a bold and bearded satyr with wreath around his head, trees and florals in field; the adjacent panel showing a dancing satyr with thyrsus and bunch of grapes, small dog at his feet, chariot with two figures opposite each other; all borderd by bead and reel design.
